TIJUANA/SAN DIEGO.- This weekend comes a bit mellow for us, who every Friday, try to bring you the best of Tijuana and San Diego. Since it's March, all relevant activities start around the 14th, however, this is not
[p]reason enough for you to stay home. Especially now, that it seems we will be having clear skies. So start counting those pennies and call up your friends. These are our suggestions for this weekend:

The Angelina mathrock band, "100 Onces" will be playing for the second time in Tijuana this Friday at 10:00 p.m. at Mous Tache bar. This will be an ideal show for fans who like irregular rhythms and complex structures. Maybe this will be a hard to digest idea for people who are accustomed to more commercial music, but for those who are up for a musical transgression venue, Mous Tache bar is the place to be. You can hear them at Bandcamp. Cover: $3 dlls.
For more information visit their Facebook page.

Underwear Walkathon
Who hasn't dreamed about running freely down the street in their underwear without having people thinking that you are crazy? Ok, maybe it isn't that common. But if you had had this wacky idea too, set the date for March 7th.
"The Undy Run/Walk" is a family event in order to support people who are suffering from rectal/colon cancer, on which the participants run or walk in boxers, briefs or any type of underwear that is appropriate for the occasion. The event will take place in Mission Bay starting at 7 a.m. as way to create awareness of this condition. A taboo that prevents the on-time detection of cancer in many people by the examination of rectum. For more information visit The Colon Cancer Alliance.
