It was really hard to pick just 10 of the top musical events that happened throughout this year that's coming to an end, given that, luckily, the best national and international performers offer quality shows in this border region.

Here are the most relevant in order of appearance:
1.-Enrique Bunbury
A show
on February 15th, at Playas Plaza Monumental.

A cold night awaited the arrival of thousands of people that gathered to welcome the Palo Santo Tour.
2.-Silvio Rodriguez
The Cuban nueva trova singer, performed at Rosarito's Baja California Center on March 17, after 30 years without setting foot on a stage in the region. We know it wasn't precisely in Tijuana, but we had to include him given that his comeback was very popular.
3.-Zoe
At the interactive children's museum "El Trompo", and during the spring equinox alongside Vetusta Morla to get things going. It couldn't have been a better night!

4.-Miguel Bose
On May 16th, Tijuana experienced a night like no other before it, the Spanish singer made Playas' Plaza Monumental roar with his greatest hits. It was without a doubt, a great show.
5.-La Maldita Vecindad, La Lupita y La Castañeda
Three titans of national rock reunited on September 20th at the Centro de Espectaculos Alamar. It was a special tour that celebrated La Maldita's 30th anniversary and with it, its farewell from the stages, making a truly special performance.
6.-Somos America
Los Tigres del Norte, Molotov, Kinky, Zurdock, Julieta Venegas and Enjambre were all present during a festival we sure hope is here to stay. One of the highlights of the night was Zurdock's reunion after 10 years of being absent and Los Tigres del Norte stealing the show on October 3rd in Parque Morelos.
7.-Los Angeles Azules at entijuanarte
Reaching its 10 year anniversary, the popular group sang in front of over 35 thousand people that cluttered CECUT's forecourt and its surroundings on October 4th.
8.-Bunbury and Calamaro
A concert were they payed homage to Cerati, where Calamaro sang covers by Bob Marley and The Beatles, and where Mexican songs were performed sympathizing with Mexico's current political and social situation. The Plaza Monumental received the musical pair on November 8th.
9.-Hombres G
The Fausto Gutierrez Auditorium witnessed a world class event when on November 29th, it welcomed the Spanish group that has made everyone dance.
10.-Ricky Martin
Thousands of Baja and San Diego natives at Plaza Monumental in Playas welcomed the Puerto Rican performer, where he sang the best songs of his artistic career in front of a 20,000 crowd of followers.
