LOS ANGELES.- Residents of Orange County, California have filed complaints with local police authorities after discovering Klu Klux Klan recruitment flyers. The flyers don't sidestep criticism toward President Obama for the way he has handled the crisis resulting from the arrival of thousands of undocumented, unaccompanied minors.
Police authorities have confirmed to local news outlets that they started receiving complaints of this nature as of last Thursday, but had not dispatched officers because no crime has been commited thus far.
"This county is known for having ultra-conservative and anti-immigrant residents amongst its population. This is where the Minutemen and other anti-immigration groups were founded", this according to Benny Diaz, vicepresident of the United Citizens League of Latin American Citizens (LULAC).
The authors of the recruitment literature, who identify themselves as the Loyal White Knights of the Klu Klux Klan, indicated on their website that the U.S. Government is seeking to establish a New World Order by allowing the flood of illegal immigrants, while the many real U.S. citizens are having difficulties finding work.
According to Diaz, the KKK have "hitched onto the topic of migrant children to once again gain notoriety" who also believes that these actions should compel hispanic voters to head to the ballot boxes and vote during the upcoming elections this November.
Other flyers handed out by the KKK, a movement that promotes white supremacy, have also been discovered in Virginia and South Carolina, where some residents found bags of candy in the streets with the propaganda.
According to Census data, in 2013 Orange County had more than three million residents, of which 74% were white, and 34% hispanic. Half of the residents are over fifty years of age.
