Sun and fresh air! This will be the weather in Tijuana next week

We are expecting a warm week with nice air

A clear week! The city of Tijuana still doesn't seem to know in which season we are in, and though we are in mid-May, there are days in which the air is cold. It seems that for the week of May 20 to May 26, it will be moderately sunny, which is why there won't be too much heat or cold.

Summer is still not here and people who are affected the most by its weather are anxious to know when it will get truly hot, however, it doesn't seem that this weather will arrive soon.

According to Meteored, temperatures next week will range between 20°C to 18°C with clear skies in the mornings and sunny days at noon. The intensity of UV rays will be at 9, which is why you must be careful when going out.

What you must know about a high UV index

The UV index scale tells us the danger that a person may face when under sunlight: 0-2 is low, 3-5 is moderate, 6-7 is high, 8-10 is very high, and 11 or more is extreme. That's why there are some precautions you must take into account when the UV index increases:

  • Decrease your time in the sun between 10 AM to 4 PM
  • Use broad spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen every two hours, even if it is cloudy.
  • Get under a shade as soon as possible.
  • Use wide hats and sunglasses that block UV rays
