Facebook users have reported that waiting times to cross to Tijuana from the San Ysidro port of entry have been getting longer, and it has even reached from 2 to up to 3 hours just to get into Mexico.
According to users of the Facebook group "Cómo Está La Línea", waiting times to get into Tijuana have been increasing. It has even become more common for "gaviotas" (line cutters) to not let opportunities slip by and cut in line; they have even "thrown" their cars against other drivers.
One person reported someone she called "Lady Gaviota", a woman who was constantly "throwing her car" against her and the vehicles in front of her. Even in Tijuana, they continued to fight as she tried to get in front of other cars.
This woman's intentions, which were to move quickly among all the cars, led to her ending up at the spot where they check you when crossing. Even then, she practically threw her car against other cars, which is why users are asking for help to identify her to ask her to be more careful.
Alongside this post, a picture of this woman's car was uploaded, covering her license plate. The woman added that, though she understands how frustrating it is to wait, everyone is in a hurry and wants to cross quickly, but it is not always possible.
Have you experienced long waiting lines while crossing to Tijuana recently?
