This Wednesday, an arrest warrant was issued against two Tijuana police officers: Jesús Manuel “N” and José Antonio “N” after being investigated as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of aggravated murder and attempted aggravated murder.
For Baja California’s Prosecutor General’s Office (FGE) it is very important to work together with institutions that are part of our state, which is why they are always looking to improve in order to get more and better results in favor of justice.
Due to this, the coordinated work between the FGE and the Secretariat of Municipal Public Security of Tijuana managed to arrest the two members that were part of this police force.
This arrest took place with evidence that was presented to the judicial authorities which were then validated and taken as sufficient last May 31st, 2022. This led to the issuing of the arrest warrants against Jesús Manuel “N” and José Antonio “N”.
This arrest strengthens the collaboration between both institutions with the goal of pursuing, locating, and detaining those who have committed crimes, as well as underscoring that unlawful actions and crimes will not be allowed in Baja California. No matter who is responsible, they will be put behind bars.
The state’s Prosecutor General Office reiterates its commitment to keep working by following the law under the premise that justice must be delivered to all people who have been victims of a crime. This means that there will be no impunity in our state and justice for everyone.
Jesús Manuel “N” and José Antonio “N” were presented in front of a judge who will be responsible of judging the legality of their arrest, as well as the criminal process of what they are accused of.
