Those people who regretted not going to the vaccination sites to be immunized against COVID-19 can go starting this Thursday, October 21st to be vaccinated against the lethal virus in the state of Baja California, and therefore be protected during the winter season.
According to the Secretary of Health in Baja California, Alonso Pérez Rico, this Thursday the vaccination for first doses against COVID-19 will resume with the AstraZeneca vaccine for adults over 18 years old.
The Secretary of Health explained that 30 thousand AstraZeneca doses have arrived in the state, of which around 15 thousand are for the city of Tijuana, Mexicali with 10 thousand and Ensenada with 5 thousand, only for the first time.
He also reminded that the application of second doses of Pfizer, Sinovac and AstraZeneca continues, and reminded that it is important to complete the vaccination schedule to avoid infection by this virus, especially during the winter season.
Those interested in getting their first dose of the vaccine should go to the Institute of Sustainable Mobility (IMOS) from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Secretariat of Health recalls that it is essential to bring a pen, to be well fed, to bring a bottle of water and to have time available.
