Starting in July, Tijuana's Municipal Institute of Arts and Culture (IMAC) invites people of all ages to sign up for any of the courses and workshops they will offer in four houses of culture.
"We are gradually reactivating the on-site courses and workshops, while continuing to offer the online option, as instructed by the municipal president, Karla Patricia Ruiz Macfarland," said Minerva Tapia Robles, director of IMAC Tijuana.
Plastic arts, music, dance, theater, literature, languages and many other options will be available for children from the age of 6 and adults of all ages. According to Tapia Robles, the starting dates and costs vary according to the venue, and were stipulated to be accessible to all families.
"Although we are under the green light and a considerable percentage of the population is vaccinated or in process, at IMAC we maintain the sanitary measures, such as constant hand washing, mandatory use of masks and social distancing," she stressed.
