Yesterday they announced changes to the process of U.S. citizenship. At first it was said that not only would the number of questions increase and be more difficult, but also that they intended to increase the costs of this procedure.

And although they will increase the number of questions, and supposedly the questions will be more complex, the part about practically doubling the cost of the procedure was denied by order of a federal judge, despite the insistence of the Trump administration.

What will the new citizenship test look like? Starting in December, the new format will include 128 questions when before there were 100, which means that it will no longer be enough to answer six out of 10, instead you will have to get 12 out of 20 questions right.

The test has three main categories: the U.S. government, the system of government, and rights and responsibilities. It also contains questions about history, symbols and patriotic signs and costs $700.
