This is not the first weekend (although hopefully it will be the last) that Tijuana establishments are being punished for not respecting the sanitary measures associated with the coronavirus pandemic. This weekend alone, two establishments were closed and 47 fines were imposed.

This was part of an operation to verify that sanitary standards were being met in commercial activities. This was made known through the official website of the Government of Tijuana.

According to the report, priority was given in these operations to ensure that establishments complied with the use of sanitizing mats, antibacterial gel, temperature measurements and other important protocols.

As a result, businesses in the Central Zone, the East Dam, San Antonio de los Buenos and Sanchez Taboada were warned. In addition to the Cerro Colorado delegation swap meet.

On the other hand, one of these businesses, which is dedicated to the sale of alcohol, had the required protocols, but minors were found inside.
