On Monday afternoon, two kids with the name of Derek and Samantha climbed the Cuauhtémoc Monument and waved the German flag as a sign of respect to compensate the actions committed by other Mexicans in that same place the previous day, after the victory of Mexico in its first match of the World Cup.

Enrique Guzmán is the father of the children and he tells us his story:

"It is our dream to go to Germany one day, we are from a family of pilots and our dream is to go to the Nürburgring, which is the largest race track in the world." As Tijuanenses, we are embarrassed by yesterday's actions (referring to Sunday June 17) It is our way of giving respect. "

Tijuanenses and Mexicans from other parts of the country continue to apologize to the German community on behalf of those people who burned the flag.
