The Customs and Border Protection Department (CBP) informed this past weekend that those who cross to the U.S. by car or on foot will be submitted to a cell phone and other electronic devices revision from part of the authorities.
It was through a bulletin that the Department announced that every international traveler will be part of this inspection, and if people deny to go trough this process, the entrance to the U.S. will be forbidden.
"This revision will include devices such as computers, disks, video tapes, cell phones, cameras and other Multimedia gadgets."
The inspection will be randomly made, or when the officer in charge think is prudent. The CBP informed that the intention of this new security implementation is to keep the country safe and follow the law.
