A new edition of Tijuanas Jazz & Blues Festival will begin on Sunday, May 29. It is an outdoors musical event that brings together major performers and chefs in the citys Zona Centro.
The show will take place between 4th and 8th streets on Revolución Avenue and will be free of charge for everyone, in hopes of attracting a larger audience from Mexicos northwest and southern California into one of Tijuanas most iconic streets.
The Jazz & Blues Festival was created in 2010 with the help of the famous Caesars Hotel restaurant, along with Baja Californias Culture Promoter, and this years stage will see both local and nationally renowed acts.
The lineup includes the Ángel Peralta Project, La covacha Big Band ft. Estevan Favela, JL Blues Project, Tijuana Music School, BB Mamut, Gilbert Castellanos Quartet, Calixto Oviedo and Cuba Jazz Trail, with the band Pachuco Blues closing the show once again.
Completing the experience are several gastronomic establishments from around town, besides local beer and wine stands.
As for mobility, UBER will provide attendees with two promotional codes worth 100 pesos ($5.40 USD) for rides going to and from the festival. The code is JAZZFESTTJ
