Mayor Adame Muñoz of Rosarito emphasized that a tactical operational unit comprising agents from the three municipalities will be formed thanks to this agreement. Joint patrolling exercises, information exchange, and coordinating actions in strategic areas are this force’s primary goals.

Furthermore, strategic operational points where the metropolitan police will concentrate their efforts to more efficiently address the security needs of the region are set to be defined. The three municipalities will also share technology and communication systems to improve coordination and emergency response. Crime prevention through actions, including preventive patrols and criminal information analysis, will be the main focus.
