Mayor Norma Bustamante of Mexicali led the “Uniendo esfuerzos por tu colonia” operation, which took place at Fraccionamiento Paseos del Sol to improve families’ quality of life.
“In Mexicali, we have over 600 neighborhoods and communities, where we are redoubling efforts to address everyone’s needs through our programs: “Gobierno a Domicilio”, “Charlas de Café”, and “Uniendo esfuerzos por tu colonia”. Through the latter, we are working to enhance and embellish Paseos del Sol to build a safer and healthier environment for all of its residents,” the Mayor of Mexicali said.
She also stated that in the next few days maintenance work in the community—lighting repair, signage installation, pothole repair, and cleaning of public spaces—will continue.
Moreover, Mayor Norma Bustamante of Mexicali invited residents to actively participate in taking care of their environment and community and to report any situation that could require assistance.
Neighborhood representative Víctor Morales thanked the mayor’s actions: “We greatly appreciate and thank Mayor Norma Bustamante and her team for listening to our demands and addressing our needs. Thanks to this program, Paseos del Sol will be prettier and safer.”
