As part of the MLS preseason, Chivas USA will play a friendly game against the Xoloitzcuintles on Feb. 22 at Torero Stadium.
Both teams announced this match through their official sites, though they did not yet list a starting time.
It wont be the first time the Xolos play at USD. Last year the team squared off against the Los Angeles Galaxy, also in a friendly game.
The game at USD will be part of the Chivas preseason training while the Xolos will be mid-way through their regular season.
This match gives San Diego-area fans a chance to see the Xolos without crossing the border. In December, the location of a preseason game between Tijuana and Atlante was switched from Southwestern College to Estadio Caliente.
The Xolos are off to a strong start in the current season, winning three games and tying 1. Last Saturday they beat Mexicos Chivas in Guadalajara 2-0, a result good enough to put Tijuana at the top of the general team standings.
