Tijuana served a cake fit for a king.
And the city broke its record by sharing the biggest Rosca de Reyes in the region.
The rosca is a traditional sweet, round cake that Mexicans enjoy every year on Jan. 6, marking the arrival of the Three Wise Men to see the Baby Jesus in Bethlehem.
This year, Tijuana broke its record by serving a rosca that was 1,148 feet long and weighed more than two tons. Last years rosca measured 164 feet less.
A total 50 bakers from El Molino bakery worked for two weeks to prepare this years rosca, and almost 200 volunteers served a slice to the thousands of people who gathered around the iconic theater of the Centro Cultural Tijuana.
