As part of Tianguis Turístico 2025, artist Rocío Hoffmann will present a sculpture inspired by the iconic Titanic, which will be installed in the Rosarito Hotel gardens.
The sculpture, created in collaboration with blacksmith artist Víctor Hugo Chávez Magaña, aims to highlight the cultural and cinematic legacy of Playas de Rosarito. This destination was chosen by James Cameron to film scenes from the movie Titanic.

“Rosarito is where the Titanic sank, the one everyone saw on screen. With this idea in mind, I thought we could represent this image in our artistic style. With no money but a clear vision, I spoke with Víctor Hugo Chávez Magaña, a blacksmith artist, and he took a chance on me,” the artist shared on her social media.
