As in previous years, the State Civil Protection Coordination has organized this statewide drill. It is open to the public, educational, social, and private sectors and marks the 15th anniversary of the 7.2-magnitude earthquake that struck on April 4, 2010, primarily affecting Valle de Mexicali and felt across multiple municipalities, including Tijuana.

The Tijuana Government will take part in this activity at all its facilities, including the Municipal Palace, the nine delegations, and several directorates and agencies located in the city.
