Tijuana Launches Green Space Adoption Program to Promote Environmental Care

The 25th City Hall of Tijuana aims to encourage a culture of environmental care

The 25th City Hall led by Mayor Ismael Burgueño Ruiz of Tijuana has invited citizens to participate in the green space adoption program to promote a culture of environmental care and preservation.

The Secretariat of Territorial and Urban Development, through the Directorate of Municipal Public Services, has introduced this program to encourage the adoption and maintenance of parks, medians, roundabouts, walkways, and other public spaces by businesses, neighborhood committees, civil associations, and social clubs.

These initiatives aim to improve the urban environment by promoting care, cleaning, and conservation of green spaces, while also encouraging active community participation in environmental protection.
