Mayor Ismael Burgueño Ruiz of Tijuana continues to work together with authorities from the three levels of government, paying special attention to migration issues that directly impact our city especially after Donald Trump was once again sworn in as the President of the United States.
Through periodic meetings, strategies to reinforce migration strategies led by the President of Mexico Claudia Sheinbaum—coordinated in Baja California by Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda—are permanently planned and carried out.

Furthermore, since the mayor took office, they have been working directly and together with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regarding border issues and coordination strengthening to help citizens of both countries.
The 25th City Hall of Tijuana has kept close contact with US migration authorities and local governments close to the city. They aim to strengthen the ties that bound these sister cities together and reaffirm a relationship of cordiality and respect for the actions carried out by each government institution.

A humanistic government like the one currently in place in Tijuana respects the good collaboration between all levels of government and the work done for the good of all citizens, which is why they will always aim to reinforce the work done by all institutions.
