Baja California is preparing to make history as the host of the Tianguis Turístico México 2025. Apart from activities designed for industry professionals, public events will be organized to bring the tourism experience to communities on both sides of the border, emphasized Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda.

“For the first time, this platform will not only connect buyers and service providers but also invite the public to actively participate in Mexico’s biggest tourism celebration. It will be an unprecedented Tianguis with an inclusive spirit,” the governor stated.

She noted that the 2025 edition of the Tianguis will take place from April 28 to May 1 at the Baja California Center in Playas de Rosarito, where over 1,500 buyers from 40 countries will gather. However, festivities will begin earlier with free community events.

The first of these, “Window to Mexico”, will be held on April 26 and 27 at Liberty Station in San Diego, California, featuring representatives from at least 27 Mexican states who will share their culinary and cultural identities from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
She added that on May 1 and 2, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the Tijuana Cultural Center (CECUT) will host “The Great Taco of Mexico”, an unprecedented public culinary event where all states will present their best tacos.

The grand finale will take place on May 3 along Tijuana’s iconic Avenida Revolución, featuring a free concert by internationally acclaimed acts Nortec: Bostich + Fussible and the Baja California Orchestra.

With the Tianguis Turístico México 2025, Baja California will showcase its cultural, culinary, and natural wealth, reaffirming its role as a strategic bridge between Mexico and the world, and establishing its position as a key destination for both domestic and international tourism, Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila concluded.
