Baja California’s Secretary of Tourism Miguel Aguíñiga Rodríguez, together with Mexico’s Secretary of Tourism Josefina Rodríguez Zamora officially announced Tianguis Turístico 2025 to the whole nation. This event will take place from April 28 to May 1 at the Baja California Center, located in Playas de Rosarito.
The state tourism official mentioned that this edition of Tianguis Turístico, which will be held for the first time in northern Mexico, has generated great expectations within the industry, demonstrating the interest and confidence in Baja California as a host for high-impact events.
Aguíñiga Rodríguez added that this is the first edition of the Tianguis to include international activities called “Ventana a México” (Window to Mexico). This will include a gastronomic and cultural event at Liberty Station in San Diego, California, which will be free and open to the public on April 26 and 27, 2025.
Rodríguez Zamora said that all 32 Mexican states have confirmed their participation. In addition, 300 hosted buyers, 80% of whom are from the United States and Canada, and the rest from Europe, Asia, and Latin America, will also take part in this event.
She highlighted that this edition has broken records, with 924 buyers from 624 companies across 26 countries, 40% of which are from the United States and Canada.
Tianguis Turístico México 2025 will showcase the region’s rich and diverse tourism offerings. From its stunning natural landscapes to its internationally renowned cuisine, wines, and beers, Baja California is ready to welcome visitors and industry professionals with its attractive and competitive offers.
