Baja Californias’ Secretary of Tourism Miguel Aguíñiga Rodríguez met with the Ensenada Business Coordinating Council, led by Marco Estudillo Bernal, to present the progress made regarding the planning of Tianguis Turístico 2025, as well as the event’s preliminary program.
In his speech, Aguíñiga Rodríguez highlighted the importance of Tianguis Turístico as the primary business platform for the country’s tourism industry and the opportunity it represents that Baja California has been selected as the host of the first edition taking place in northern Mexico.
He emphasized that this event will help promote the state internationally and attract investments in the tourism industry, while highlighting the crucial role business leaders have in strengthening the region’s tourism offerings. Therefore, he extended an invitation to actively participate in Tianguis’ activities.
As part of his working tour across the municipality, the Secretary of Tourism also met with representatives of the Emprendedores del Valle de Guadalupe Association, with whom he discussed opportunities for collaboration at Tianguis Turístico 2025. During this meeting, the importance of the wine industry’s participation in positioning Baja California as a top destination for enogastronomic tourism was highlighted.
To conclude his agenda in Ensenada, the Secretary visited Sassi del Valle, a new tourism development in the region to review the project’s progress.
These meetings were attended by José de Jesús Quiñónez Ramírez, Baja California’s Deputy Secretary of Tourism; Yolanda Navarro Caballero, Tourism Delegate in Ensenada; Vivian Salazar Aguirre, from the Public Trust for Tourism Promotion of Baja California; Fernando Toledo Sánchez, Director of Planning and Investment Promotion, among others.
