Through the Municipal Women’s Institute (IMMUJER), the 10th City Hall of Playas de Rosarito trained public servants on the State System for the Prevention, Assistance, Sanction, and Eradication of Violence Against Women (SEPASEVM).
“With these tools, our civil servants will be better prepared to ensure a life free of violence for all women in this municipality, and Mayor Rocío Adame of Rosarito has been a crucial driving force in this training exercise. It is a priority,” Rebeca Bejarano Maya, head of IMMUJER, said.

The director thanked Director Elena Anguiano Rentería—from the Eradication of Violence Against Women Department at the General Secretariat of the Government—for her valuable cooperation in this event’s organization. She also highlighted the importance that SEPASEVM has as a key tool to combat gender-based violence and ensure that all women can fully exercise their rights.
“The gender alert is a call to action. By working in a coordinated manner, we can build strong support networks, enhance services for victims, and prevent violence before it occurs. Together, we can create a fairer and more equitable future for everyone,” the head of IMMUJER concluded.
