The Playas de Rosarito City Hall authorized a historic investment of 22,217,625 pesos for major infrastructure projects in the southern zone of the Primo Tapia Delegation.
This significant funding is part of the 2025 public works package, totaling 52,782,750 pesos, aimed at substantially improving the quality of life for residents in the southern zone, which is a priority area for the mayor and her administration.
“The southern zone is of great importance to our government. We are committed to carrying out projects that boost development and well-being in this community,” Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz of Rosarito said.

Some of the key projects at Primo Tapia include the asphalt paving of Guadalupe Rivera, Procopio Zazueta Olivas, Rodolfo Márquez, and Regino streets, construction of housing for families affected by fires, and upgrades to the audiovisual room in Parque Submarino Rosarito.
These road infrastructure improvements will significantly enhance traffic flow and connectivity for local residents, making daily commutes and activities easier.
During the same session, the City Hall also approved the voluntary participation of Playas de Rosarito in the 2025-2027 Municipal Performance Advisory Guide (GDM), an initiative by the Secretariat of the Interior through the National Institute for Federalism and Municipal Development (INAFED).

In addition to the southern zone investment, financial allocations were approved for several municipal agencies, including the Municipal Planning Institute (IMPLAN), the Municipal Sports Institute of Playas de Rosarito (IMDER), the Secretariat of Well-Being, and the Municipal Treasury.
With these actions, the Playas de Rosarito municipal government reaffirms its commitment to comprehensive development and the well-being of all residents, prioritizing the needs of southern communities.
