The Playas de Rosarito City Hall unanimously approved the 2025-2027 Municipal Development Plan (PMD), which will steer the municipality during these upcoming three years.
“This plan is not just a document. It is a guide that will allow us to work in a coordinated and efficient manner to achieve our common goals. It features expansive citizen participation, and it represents our strong commitment to addressing people’s needs and building a more prosperous future for everyone,” Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz of Rosarito said.
She highlighted that the 2025-2027 PMD is the result of an intense dialogue and consultation process carried out together with several sectors of society. Its focus is on strategic pillars such as economic development, improvement of public services, environmental protection, and strengthening of public security. Plus, concrete actions to boost citizen participation and ensure public management transparency are being planned.
The “Salvavidas Temporal 2025” project was also approved at this session. It will guarantee swimmer safety in the municipality’s beaches throughout the year. Additionally, Mayor Adame Muñoz of Rosarito underscored the importance of recognizing lifeguards’ work and announced her commitment to improve their work conditions, including the possibility of granting them economic bonuses.
At this session, a coordination agreement with the State Mechanism for the Protection of Baja California’s Human Rights Advocates and Journalists was authorized, reaffirming the City Hall’s commitment to defending freedom of speech and human rights.
