MEXICO.- During the weekend over 300 social organizations met in San Salvador Atenco at the event called "National Assembly against Imposition", the same that is looking to stop Enrique Peña Nieto from assuming the presidency of Mexico.

The plan of action presented includes marches, demonstrations and blocking the institutions that are suspected to have contributed to Peña Nieto's victory, some of them are private and some are from the government.

The series of actions is to be carried out from July to December of 2012 according to Mexican newspaper Reforma:

JULY 22. National level marches

JULY 27. Blockage of Televisa's facilities throughout the country.

AUG 08. First day of the national fight against imposition.

AUG 11. More demonstrations all over the country, including one where demonstrators will accompany the Mexican Syndicate of Electricians from the Zócalo to Los Pinos.

SEP 01. Second day of the national fight against imposition including a blockage of the Legislative Palace of San Lázaro on the occasion of Felipe Calderón's last State of the Union Address and a demonstration to the TRIFE.

SEP 06. Third day of the national fight.

SEP 15-16. Occupation of Mexican public plazas under the slogan "¡Viva México sin PRI!" (Long live Mexico without the Institutional Revolutionary Party).

OCT 02. National student strike.

OCT 22. National level marches.

DIC 01. Attempting to stop Peña Nieto from taking possession.

Regarding the seizing of Televisa's facilities it was specified that every municipality will meet before the event to decide whether they would actually seize the facilities or if a blockage was to be arranged instead, taking into account the number of people they had. The date matches that of the Olympic Games of London 2012.

Ever since the electoral result was made public and some of the media informed of a strategy by a number of power groups to strengthen Peña Nieto's image before the public, many citizens have been inviting people not to watch Televiza and TV Azteca, as well as not shopping at the Soriana supermarkets.

To this day rumors have impacted the commercial value of the organizations involved in them, their stocks have dropped in the Stock Market because of the uncertainty of their investors and the next boycott is expected to have an even bigger impact.

About December 01, the day the President Elect is to be sworn in, members of the Convention are planning to block the National Congress facilities to stop him from going through.

Members of the "Yo Soy 132" movement were spotted in the event but they clarified that they are not leading this movement and that they are only part of those who do not believe Enrique Peña Nieto won fairly.

They also ruled out that Andrés Manuel López Obrador was behind the Assembly, a recurrent idea amongst those who do not sympathize with the Anti-Imposition movement.
