Playas de Rosarito Police Force to Be Assessed for Trustworthiness in Effort to Improve Community Security

The Playas de Rosarito Municipal Police will be evaluated in several different areas.

The 10th City Hall of Playas de Rosarito, through the Secretariat of Citizen Security, has announced that all Municipal Police staff, including the Commercial Police, will be evaluated at the Control and Trustworthiness Center (C3) to comply with the exams required by current regulations.

This process will be carried out in close coordination with the Citizen Security State Force (FESC). A joint strategy has been established with this agency to ensure the operability and coverage of the municipality’s different areas during the evaluation period, guaranteeing the surveillance and protection of the community at all times.

Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz of Rosarito emphasized that this action reflects the municipal government’s commitment to strengthening citizens’ trust in their security institutions by ensuring that each officer meets integrity, capability, and professionalism standards.

“We are working in coordination with the state government to ensure that our police forces comply with what the law establishes, because our community’s security is a priority. These evaluations are a clear demonstration that we are establishing a police force that responds with honesty and transparency to citizens’ demands,” the mayor said.

It is estimated that the process—covering the entire police force, even if they are assigned to different commissions or operational duties—will conclude in approximately one week.

With these actions, the 10th City Hall of Playas de Rosarito reaffirms its commitment to security, legality, and the construction of a municipality with solid and trustworthy institutions that serve the population.
