Over 60 teams have confirmed their participation in the highly anticipated Kendall Motrix Cerro Prieto off-road race in Mexicali, which will take place on Saturday, February 15, 2025. All participants are thrilled to be part of this amazing event!
This exciting competition marks the first event of the 2025 Corredores del Desierto (CODE) Season and promises to be a thrilling and adrenaline-filled experience.
María de los Ángeles Murillo, head of the Tourism and Conventions Committee, claimed that this race has the Mayor Norma Bustamante administration’s support, as it has provided security assistance to ensure that attendees and participants enjoy a well-organized and safe event.

Joaquín Rodríguez Montoya, CODE administrative director, announced that the 13-mile route is completely ready to welcome all competitors who will, in turn, test their skill and endurance on challenging terrain.
“This event is not only a test for the drivers but also a celebration for motor racing fans who will enjoy a unique show at Cerro Prieto,” said Rodríguez Montoya.

The first categories to hit the track will be Classes 39, 19, 5-1600, 15, 9, and 11, who will complete 4 laps at 7:00 AM. At 8:45 AM, Classes OT, 1, 8, 28, 29, 7, 18, and 7S will compete, and categories 10, 12, 1600, 5, and 14 will begin at 10:30 AM.
Classes 39, 19, 5-1600, 15, 9, and 11 will return at 12:15 PM, while Classes OT, 1, 8, 28, 29, 7, 18, and 7S will have their second run at 2:00 PM.
The last competitors to begin will be Classes 10, 12, 1600, 5, and 14 at 3:45 PM. The vehicles’ mechanical inspection is set to take place on Friday, February 14 at the finish line area located in Cerro Prieto from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Lastly, the awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, February 15 at 6:30 PM in the finish line area, where the best competitors of this intense day of speed and skill will be recognized.
