Mayor Ismael Burgueño Ruiz of Tijuana spearheaded a meeting with Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz of Playas de Rosarito and Mayor Román Cota Muñoz of Tecate to follow up on the joint actions that originated from the Metropolitan Coordination Agreement on Security.

Mayor Burgueño Ruiz of Tijuana stressed the importance of maintaining close cooperation among the three municipalities to implement effective preventive measures as part of the Metropolitan Police project. This initiative aims to improve the perception of security and peace in the region while reducing crime rates in the three municipalities.

At this meeting, municipal authorities reaffirmed their commitment to work in a coordinated manner to promote peace and harmony among citizens. Additionally, they stressed the importance of continuing to strengthen state and federal security strategies.

This meeting was attended by the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection of Tijuana, Juan Manuel Sánchez Rosales; the Secretary of Citizen Security of Playas de Rosarito, Héctor Manzo Ruvalcaba; the Director of Citizen Security and Municipal Transit of Tecate, Marina Manuela Calderón Guillén; and Tijuana Councilor Ranier Falcón Martínez.
