The City Hall led by Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz of Playas de Rosarito held the “Protocol for Assisting Female Victims of Gender-Based Violence” training session for Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) staff.
The Legal Coordinator of IMMUJER, Gabriela Mongoy Domínguez, was in charge of providing detailed information on the protocol for assisting women victims of gender-based violence. During training, the importance of a comprehensive and effective response was emphasized, covering everything from initial on-site assistance to the psychological, legal, and social counseling that victims may require.

“Respect for women and their right to a life free of violence is a fundamental priority for Mayor Rocío Adame of Rosarito’s administration,” stated Mongoy Domínguez at the training session.
The Gender-Based Violence Alert Against Women (AVGM) was a key topic in training. It was explained that this human rights protection mechanism—unique in the world and established under the General Law on Women’s Access to a Life Free of Violence—consists of a series of emergency government actions to confront and eradicate femicide violence and/or situations of systemic inequality that prevent women from fully exercising their human rights in a given area. It was also stressed that violence against women can be perpetrated both by individuals and by the community itself.

IMMUJER reaffirms its commitment to the public and has provided the following contact methods for requesting information, accessing the institute’s services, or arranging educational-informative forums in communities, schools, or workplaces: Office phone — 661-688-1308; WhatsApp — 661-1138016.
The Playas de Rosarito City Hall continues working to strengthen its institutions’ capabilities and ensure the protection and well-being of women in the municipality.
