Rocio Adame Muñoz, Mayor of Rosarito, toured Center for Oncology in Pediatrics (COP) facilities in Baja California—a project driven by the Castro-Limón Foundation— to learn about the work carried out at this hospital.
Mayor Adame Muñoz of Rosarito interacted with children in the chemotherapy room and explored the “Pro Niñez Sin Cáncer” area, where free treatments are provided to patients aged 0 to 18. This comprehensive project has provided care for children from across the country and even foreign patients.

During the tour, the mayor was informed that one child is under observation, three are undergoing treatment, and four have already been declared cancer-free, all from the municipality of Playas de Rosarito. She also learned about fundraising activities organized to continue supporting the community.
“The well-being of the most vulnerable is my administration’s priority. That is why we are joining their cause, and from this moment on, I assure you that you will have all the necessary support to ensure the next cycling ride is a success and continues to benefit children,” stated the municipal president.

She also mentioned that she was thrilled to participate in the bicycle ride that will take place on Sunday, April 5, set to kick off at Studios Baja and end at Viñedos Bibbayoff in Valle de Guadalupe. All donations from the event will go directly to supporting dozens of children and teenagers with cancer at COP.
During her visit, she was welcomed by Castro-Limón Foundation executives Julia Limón, Yaqueline Salazar, Aranza Zamudio, Iván González, and Miguel Ceballos.
