Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz of Playas de Rosarito spearheaded the Council for Building Peace and Security in the Region meeting, reaffirming her commitment to the security and well-being of all Rosarito natives.

“Effective coordination among the institutions that make up this council has been essential to address our citizens’ security concerns. We will continue working this way, as the well-being of Rosarito natives is my administration’s priority,” the mayor said.

During the meeting, operational issues relevant to the municipality’s public security were discussed, which closely follow the strategies implemented by Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum and Baja Californian Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda.

The security meeting, coordinated by Leonardo Barreras Vega, Technical Secretary of the Council for Building Peace and Security, was attended by local and federal authorities, including representatives from the Secretariat of Citizen Security, the State Attorney General’s Office, and the Secretariat of the Navy, among others.

This joint effort reaffirms the municipal government of Playas de Rosarito’s commitment to the security and well-being of its citizens, promoting interinstitutional collaboration to ensure a peaceful and safe environment.
