Celebrating International Women’s Day, the 10th City Hall led by Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz of Playas de Rosarito reaffirmed its steadfast commitment to promoting gender equality and equity.

Mayor Rocío Adame of Rosarito and her administration recognize the importance of this day to reflect on the progress made and the challenges that persist in the fight for women’s rights. As such, the municipal government commits to strengthening and implementing public policies that guarantee equal opportunities for women and their full development in all areas of society.

As part of the Comprehensive Women’s Day campaign event, organized by the Municipal Women’s Institute (IMMUJER), Conchita Cantú was recognized as an extraordinary woman in the community.

Meanwhile, the System for Comprehensive Family Development (DIF) of Rosarito reiterated its commitment to continue working for the well-being and rights of every woman in the community.

An art therapy workshop was also held for women in the municipality, led by psychologist Dayana Sánchez and organized by the Municipal Women’s Institute (IMMUJER). This workshop was part of the activities of “Women’s Week,” aimed at raising awareness about the importance of March 8.

During this special women’s campaign, sports, cultural, and recreational activities were held with the participation of several women entrepreneurs.
