Mayor Rocío Adame of Playas de Rosarito led the Tijuana-Rosarito Regional Security Council for the Construction of Peace, which aims to strengthen security in the city and promote effective collaboration among the three levels of government.
During the meeting, joint strategies to build peace and harmony in the city were developed. Authorities also reviewed the results of operations implemented in Playas de Rosarito.
The council was coordinated by Leonardo Barreras Vega, Technical Secretary of the Coordination for the Construction of Peace and Security Council in the Tijuana Region from Mexico’s SSPC.

This joint effort reaffirms the 10th City Hall’s commitment to continue working toward building peace and harmony for its citizens, while reiterating that the security of Playas de Rosarito is everyone’s responsibility.
This meeting was attended by: Héctor Manzo Ruvalcaba, Secretary of Citizen Security; Arturo Mandujano Quezada, Regional Prosecutor in Playas de Rosarito for Baja California’s Attorney General’s Office, as well as representatives from the Mexican Navy and the National Guard in Tijuana and Rosarito.
Also in attendance were the 431st National Guard Company in Playas de Rosarito, the 28th Infantry Battalion of Tijuana, the National Intelligence Center, the State Investigation Agency, the State Citizen Security Force, and Playas de Rosarito’s Control, Command, Communication, Computing, Quality, and Citizen Contact Center (C5).
