Mayor Rocio Adame Muñoz of Rosarito kicked off the annual fundraiser for the Cruz Roja Mexicana, Playas de Rosarito Delegation with a message full of solidarity and empathy. The event, which brought together volunteers, paramedics, and citizens, marked the beginning of a campaign aimed at raising the necessary funds for the operation of this humanitarian institution.

During her speech, the mayor underscored the importance of the Cruz Roja as a “symbol of love for others” and highlighted its work in times of emergency and vulnerability. She also called on the community to join this cause, reminding everyone that “every donation, no matter how small it may seem, can transform into hope.”

The fundraiser aims to collect funds to cover operational expenses, such as medications and fuel for ambulances.

The President of the Cruz Roja Mexicana Board of Directors in Rosarito explained that the fundraising goal is one million pesos, which is necessary to cover the emergency services required by the community.
It should be noted that the Cruz Roja Mexicana, Playas de Rosarito Delegation, provides free ambulance services to the community, making it an essential pillar in emergency response.

This fundraising campaign will continue until the last day of May, and citizens are invited to make their donations at several collection spots or through available digital channels.
