Mayor Rocío Adame of Playas de Rosarito launched the training for the “Vive Saludable, Vive Feliz” (Live Healthy, Live Happy) program, a strategic initiative coordinated by the Secretariat of Education Delegation.

This program, part of a national effort led by the President of Mexico Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo and backed by Baja Californian Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda, seeks to strengthen the well-being and health of children in schools nationwide. The goal will be achieved through concrete actions that promote healthy habits.

“Ensuring healthy nutrition for our children, teens, and young people is an unquestionable priority. Banning the sale of junk food in schools is a key measure in this regard. This highly valuable program will be effectively implemented and monitored,” Mayor Adame Muñoz of Rosarito stated.
