The municipal administration led by Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz of Rosarito has launched the Easter holiday security operation “Rosarito Late Seguro” (Rosarito Beats Safely) through the Directorate of Civil Protection and Firefighters (DPCB) in coordination with the Aquatic Rescue Division. Its primary goal is to guarantee the safety and well-being of both residents and visitors during this period.
Joaquín Mercado de Santiago, head of DPCB, reported that strategic assistance points have been set up across the city to provide support and ensure a safe experience for those enjoying the city’s attractions.

“Following instructions by the mayor, since last Thursday, we have deployed teams at the city’s main entry points and along Benito Juárez Boulevard. We are distributing informational flyers with crucial recommendations to ensure visitors have a pleasant and safe stay. Additionally, we are providing updates on the status of our beaches, clearly indicating which ones are closed or approved for recreational use,” Mercado de Santiago explained.
The “Rosarito Late Seguro” operation promotes a culture of prevention and self-care among tourists and locals alike, ensuring that Easter celebrations proceed without incidents and that everyone can responsibly enjoy the beauty of Playas de Rosarito.
The Rosarito City Hall urges both residents and visitors to heed authorities’ recommendations and cooperate with security and rescue personnel to make this Easter holiday a safe and memorable experience.
