Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz of Playas de Rosarito formally launched the 2025 Holy Week operation in the municipality. This initiative prioritizes a coordinated effort among the three levels of government to ensure comprehensive assistance for tourists who visit the municipality during this holiday period.
The mayor highlighted the municipality’s thorough preparation for the arrival of visitors, emphasizing: “We are fully prepared to welcome tourists to our beautiful municipality. There is strong coordination to work jointly with the three branches of government.”
The Secretary of Citizen Security, Héctor Manzo Ruvalcaba, explained the active participation of several institutions in this comprehensive operation, which primarily aims to ensure the safety and well-being of visitors.
The Secretariat of the Navy will contribute one vehicle, the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) will provide two, and the Heroic Firefighter Department will deploy significant equipment, including two fire engines, an aquatic rescue unit equipped with a pickup truck and a watercraft, an urban rescue unit, and three pickup trucks.
The National Guard will join this effort with two vehicles, as will the Secretariat of Traffic and Transportation, which will participate with three.
Meanwhile, the Municipal Public Security Directorate of Playas de Rosarito will have an active role with three tourist vehicles, five motorcycles, one traffic unit, two preventive programs units, the center chief’s vehicle, a forensics unit, Unit 02, and an ambulance assigned to the Secretariat of Citizen Security.
The 10th City Hall of Playas de Rosarito extends a warm invitation to all tourists and visitors to enjoy the several attractions the city offers during Holy Week 2025. Effective and continuous coordination among the different government forces is expected to ensure a pleasant and safe stay for all attendees.
