Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz of Rosarito highlighted the valuable work and commitment of the Castro-Limón Foundation in organizing the successful 16th Pedaleando, la Ruta de la Esperanza” (Pedaling, the Route of Hope) Cycling Ride Event.

Representing the mayor, the director of the Municipal Sports Institute (IMDER), Francisco Carrasco Beltrán, attended the emotional opening ceremony of the event, where he congratulated the organizers for the strong turnout and the positive impact this initiative has on the community.

This bike event brought together over 4,000 athletes, promoting not only physical activity and family bonding but also serving as a key pillar for the work carried out by the Castro-Limón Foundation in support of children battling cancer.

It should be noted that the Castro-Limón Foundation provides comprehensive care to nearly 80 children in our municipality facing this difficult disease. Thanks to their tireless efforts, 20 kids from Rosarito have overcome cancer to date and now enjoy full, healthy lives.

The Playas de Rosarito City Hall reaffirms its commitment to community well-being and, as such, supported the event by waiving the required permits.

It also reiterated its willingness to continue collaborating on future initiatives that help bring hope and support to children and their families in their fight against cancer.
