Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz of Playas de Rosarito led the delivery of the restored park at the Rancho 40 community, strengthening the social fabric and her commitment to improving the quality of life of all inhabitants.
“I am thrilled to be here today in this place we love so much. Restoration of public spaces is essential for the well-being of our families,” the mayor said.
The park’s restoration projects include the planting of 60 trees, cleaning of roads, a pergola installation, public lighting repairs, and a children’s playground area.
The mayor announced that football fields, an endemic garden, and activities for young people in the community will all soon be available.
“This park will become a space for the community to gather and have fun. Take care of it as if it were your own home, because it is,” Mayor Adame emphasized.
At this event, the community and members of the 10th City Hall of Playas de Rosarito cut down the traditional Rosca de Reyes and delivered toys to children of the community, celebrating the family and community spirit.
With this project, Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz’s administration shows its commitment to the comprehensive development of communities, providing adequate and safe spaces for healthy entertainment and communal gatherings.
