During her “Nos Toca Comunicar” talk, Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz of Playas de Rosarito highlighted the progress achieved through her “10×100” initiative, reaffirming her dedication to transparency and fulfilling her commitments to the community.
Mayor Adame Muñoz emphasized the progress made on various projects included in her plan. For example, one of her most significant achievements is building new restrooms at the El Morro community school, ensuring a healthier and more adequate environment for tens of students.
Additionally, the restoration of the Octavio Paz and Morelos city public libraries has transformed them into spaces for learning and culture for all residents of Rosarito. Significant progress has also been made on the reconstruction of the Mily Sanctuary, and plans are underway to create a new space dedicated to animal welfare.
The mayor emphasized that her administration has positively impacted areas such as public safety. The “Gobierno Móvil” program has contributed to this by bringing municipal services closer to remote communities, simplifying procedures and processes.
Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz explained that public safety measures have been strengthened in the community, reiterating that police officer training remains a priority.
She also highlighted that in terms of economic development, her administration is collaborating with other government entities to organize Tianguis Turístico 2025, which will position Playas de Rosarito as a world-class tourist destination.
“These achievements are just the beginning of a new era for the city. I thank the residents of Rosarito for their trust and reiterate my commitment to work tirelessly for the well-being of our community. I want to emphasize the importance of citizen participation, as it has been key to achieving these milestones,” stated Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz.
