Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz of Rosarito held a strategic meeting with the city’s real estate developers to strengthen the orderly and sustainable development of the industry where she encouraged teamwork and the establishment of joint solutions to boost the city’s growth.
“We must move forward together in this project called Playas de Rosarito. For me, it is essential to engage in dialogue with you and understand how we can support each other. I make my team available to address your municipal concerns and help you organize with state and federal authorities,” the mayor said.
At the meeting, she emphasized that collaboration between businesses and the government is crucial for the city’s development. She also announced that the Secretariat of Economic Development and Tourism, together with the Secretariat of Urban Development and Services, are working on creating a one-stop service window to streamline support for real estate developers.
Additionally, she highlighted the importance of maintaining continuous dialogue to promote real estate, demographic, and economic development in the municipality.
Moreover, the Secretary of Urban Development and Services (SDSU) underscored that “Mayor Rocío Adame’s administration is close to the people and the real estate industry. Annually, we receive 1.1 billion pesos, equivalent to approximately 55 million dollars. If we consider the value of the homes you buy and sell, you will see that the resources are never enough. However, I assure you that we are working to address your needs.”
Representing real estate developers, Luis Bustamante outlined the current situation of the coastal corridor and its impact on the municipality’s growth.
Real estate representatives presented their needs and requests to the mayor to improve investment and development conditions during this meeting. They also emphasized that her support and presence at investment attraction conventions will provide certainty to the real estate community in Playas de Rosarito and the region.
This meeting, held at the government building, reaffirms the mayor’s commitment to building a modern Playas de Rosarito and establishing an efficient government with a vision for sustainable development.
