The government led by Mayor Norma Bustamante of Mexicali expressed its full support for President Claudia Sheinbaum’s stance and reiterated its total rejection of the accusations issued by the White House.
“We categorically reject any unfounded allegations that attempt to link our institutions to criminal organizations, as well as any attempt to undermine our sovereignty,” the Mayor stated.
Our population’s security and well-being are a priority, and we firmly believe that common challenges must be addressed through cooperation and mutual respect.
As President Claudia Sheinbaum has stated, it is time to leave behind divisive rhetoric and instead work on comprehensive solutions that address root causes. Public security and health require coordinated strategies based on bilateral understanding, the Mayor emphasized.
If we truly seek effective solutions, we must act responsibly and follow the principles of respect between nations.
