In the presence of members of the Well-Being Commission of the 66th Legislature of the Congress of the Union, Mayor Norma Bustamante of Mexicali announced the upcoming opening of the first well-being PILARES (Innovation, Freedom, Arts, Education, and Knowledge Spots) center in the city.

“PILARES centers are spaces that transform lives and strengthen the social fabric. We are thrilled to offer our citizens a place where they can learn, grow, and develop,” stated the mayor of Mexicali.

Norma Bustamante, Mayor of Mexicali, explained that with support from the federal and state governments, Centers for Comprehensive Human Development (CDHI) will be opened in PILARES with Casa Digna marking the beginning of the first phase. These centers will promote activities focused on education, economy, sports, culture, and health.
