On Saturday, April 5, the Red Cross 2025 Mass Fundraising Campaign, with officials from the 25th City Hall in attendance, took place. The opening ceremony was led by Mayor Ismael Burgueño Ruiz of Tijuana, who highlighted the vital work of first responders.

“The Red Cross has always played a crucial role as a first responder, and we must continue to recognize and support its historic mission. This campaign reflects our appreciation for this distinguished institution. Teamwork is essential, and the community must be part of it,” the mayor underscored.

The mayor also acknowledged the officials who joined this noble cause and reaffirmed his administration’s solidarity with the Red Cross, an institution dedicated to saving lives and promoting social well-being.

It should be noted that public servants from Tijuana’s 25th City Hall gathered at the Municipal Palace in the morning before deploying in teams to strategic collection spots across the city.
