Mayor Ismael Burgueño Ruiz of Tijuana personally assisted residents of La Presa Este during “Delegation Wednesday”, a space where the community can directly express their concerns and needs. This is part of the mayor’s commitment to leading a government that is close to the citizens of Tijuana.

“This is an exercise in being close to the people. We learn firsthand about citizens’ needs and begin to immediately work to address the most urgent requests. As such, we coordinate efforts to continue achieving the development of our city,” Ismael Burgueño Ruiz, Mayor of Tijuana, said.
The mayor received requests on priority issues—mainly street cleaning, garbage collection, lighting, paving, and security—to reinforce the commitment made to provide timely responses to citizens’ requests and improve their quality of life.

During this ‘Delegation Wednesday’ session, Mayor Ismael Burgueño of Tijuana was accompanied by the La Presa Este Delegate, Óscar Eduardo Valenzuela Rodríguez. Together, they sought at all times to closely engage with people, reaffirming their commitment to an accessible and transparent government.
