Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz of Playas de Rosarito warmly invites all citizens to participate in the National Boxing Class, a free and open event crated to enhance technique, physical fitness, and instill discipline through this exciting sport.
The event will take place on Sunday, April 6, at 7:00 AM at the Auditorium of Unidad Deportiva Prof. Andrés Luna Rodríguez.
Francisco Carrasco Beltrán, Director of the Municipal Sports Institute (IMDER), highlighted the strong commitment of Mayor Rocío Adame of Rosarito’s administration to promote sports in the municipality.
“For our mayor, sports are a fundamental priority. We are thrilled to announce the special participation of Francisco ‘Chico’ Mendívil, WBA Fedelatin Champion, who is joining this important initiative promoted by Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo. The primary goal is to encourage boxing among new generations and foster a culture of peace and well-being in our society,” the director said.
Carrasco Beltrán shared that Playas de Rosarito and other Mexican cities will simultaneously participate in this boxing event, aiming to gather the largest number of boxers for a massive nationwide class.
Attendees are encouraged to wear athletic clothing (no shoes or heels) and a white T-shirt. Hydration stations and medical services will be available to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants
The municipal official, once again, concluded by inviting people to this mass class, which will begin at 7:30 AM on Sunday, April 6, at the Auditorium of Unidad Deportiva Prof. Andrés Luna Rodríguez.
