This morning authorities from Nuevo Leon, Mexico, confirmed that the body parts which were found near the crash site are indeed those of the singer.
A DNA test was conducted using some of her family members, the results came back positive.
Two days ago Jennis brothers, Lupillo, Gustavo and Juan Rivera flew to Mexico to identify the body parts of their sister from the crash that occurred, where everyone on board the small passenger plane died.
Other members of the Rivera family who live in Lakewood, CA, held a church service yesterday in memory of Jenni.
Her remains were cremated and will now be taken by her brothers back to Long Beach, CA, where a funeral service will be held for her.
